Keep refrigerated or frozen. Butterball oven baked turkey breast is fully cooked and ready to eat. It can be used in recipes calling for cooked turkey, without prior heating. 1. Thaw (if the turkey breast is frozen). Thaw turkey breast in unopened wrapper, on a tray, in the refrigerator for 1 1/2 to 2 days. Do not thaw at room temperature. 2. Serve cold. 1) Remove turkey breast from wrapper. 2) Carve turkey breast. 3) Let meat stand at room temperature 15 minutes to take off the chill. 4) Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours after carving. 3. Heat. Conventional oven: 1) Heat oven to 325 degrees F. 2) Remove turkey breast from wrapper. Do not stuff. 3) Place turkey breast, skin side up, on flat rack in shallow open pan. Do not add water. 4) Brush or spray skin with vegetable oil. 5) Cover pan completely with aluminum foil. 6) Place turkey breast in 325 degrees F oven and heat until warm: 4-7 lbs. 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hours. 7) Carve and serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers within 1 hour after heating. Outdoor grill: 1) Prepare grill for medium indirect heat, using a drip pan. If using a gas grill, before lighting, lift grate and place drip pan directly on bars, briquettes or lava rocks. Replace grate. 2) Remove turkey breast from wrapper. Do not stuff. 3) Spray turkey breast with nonstick cooking spray or brush lightly with vegetable oil. 4) Place turkey breast, skin side up, on cook grate over drip pan. 5) Cover grill and heat turkey breast until warm: 4-7 Lbs. 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours. 6) Carve and serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers within 1 hour after heating. Microwave oven: Note: you may need to adjust the time for your microwave and the quantity of turkey being heated. Slices. 1) Remove turkey breast from wrapper. 2) Carve turkey breast into 1/4" slices. 3) Overlap slices in microwave-safe dish. 4) Cover with waxed paper. 5) Microwave on Medium (50% power) for 7-9 minutes, turning dish once. 6) Serve immediately. 7) Refrigerate leftovers within 1 hour after heating. Whole breast. 1) Remove turkey breast from wrapper. Do not stuff. 2) Place turkey breast, skin side up, on a microwave- safe tray, level if necessary. 3) Brush or spray skin with vegetable oil. 4) Microwave on Medium (50% power) for 3 minutes per pound. Rotate tray 2 times during heating and remove drippings that accumulate. 5) Remove from microwave and cover the turkey breast with foil; let stand 5 minutes. 6) Carve turkey breast. 7) Serve immediately. 8) Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours after heating.
